Job summary

Insight Global in Thousand Oaks is seeking a hands-on technician to join the Newbury Park Equipment Engineering Team supporting Fab and Final Process areas. The technician dismantles, adjusts, repairs, and assembles equipment according to schematics, blueprints, drawings, and operating or repair manuals.

Performs preventive maintenance and repairs on semiconductor manufacturing equipment following work instructions and manufacturer manuals.

Qualifications

Associate degree in Electronics Technology or HS diploma with equivalent years of experience.
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a production and/or fast-paced environment.
Experience with common hand tools as well as various electronic instruments.
Ability to lift heavy objects, such as pumps during removal and installation.
Must pass respiratory protection medical surveillance examination.
Must have in-depth knowledge, understanding, and support of manufacturing process.

Responsibilities

Performs set-up, calibration, and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
Rebuild and repair manufacturing equipment as required.
Perform equipment modifications as directed by Equipment Engineering.
Work on complex assignments requiring judgment in resolving issues or making recommendations to the Engineering community.
Opportunity to participate as a contributing member of the Emergency Response Team.
