Job summary

SIMONA PMC is seeking an Extrusion Production Lead to drive daily manufacturing operations on the production floor, lead by example, and mentor a high‑performing team. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and efficiency in a fast‑paced extrusion environment.

The ideal candidate will spend most shifts on the floor, support machine operation, troubleshooting, changeovers, and workforce development while maintaining shift logs and performance reviews.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing leadership experience preferred.
• Experience in plastics extrusion or related manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to lead teams through influence, accountability, and example.
• Willingness to work directly on the production floor throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily manufacturing operations with active floor presence and safety leadership.
• Direct production activities to achieve safety, quality, and efficiency goals.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and support changeovers and starters.
• Coach employees, develop skills, and maintain shift logs and documentation.
• Collaborate with Maintenance, Quality, Scheduling, and Management to meet objectives.
