Job summary

Suzano International is seeking an Extrusion Supervisor to lead a frontline team and ensure safe, high-quality, and efficient extrusion operations. The role focuses on hands-on supervision, coaching, and problem-solving to keep workflow smooth and standards met.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in manufacturing, preferably extrusion/converting, with strong safety and communication skills and familiarity with SAP and production monitoring tools.

Qualifications

• Degree or certification in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years in manufacturing, preferably extrusion or converting operations.
• Experience leading frontline teams in production.
• Strong safety, quality, and production standards knowledge.
• Good communication and cross-department collaboration.
• Basic inventory knowledge preferred.
• Familiarity with SAP, MS Office, or production monitoring tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the extrusion operators and technicians.
• Ensure safety, quality, environmental, and production procedures are followed.
• Monitor production targets, KPIs, and schedules.
• Identify and resolve operational issues; escalate as needed.
• Assist root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Support inventory management of LDPE and specialty resins.
• Foster a positive team environment and development.
• Collaborate with maintenance and quality teams for reliability.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
