Ecowaste Solutions is seeking an Equipment Operator in Crockett, TX to help keep our waste-operations running safely and efficiently.

The role involves operating forklifts and rolloff equipment, performing pre-operation inspections, following safety protocols, and coordinating with site supervisors to maintain workflow. Training is provided for candidates without prior heavy-equipment experience.

Qualifications

• Background check and drug screening required.
• Ability to understand and follow safety guidelines and procedures.
• Experience operating forklifts or similar heavy equipment preferred but not required; full training provided.
• Forklift certification preferred but not required.
• Basic mechanical knowledge for inspections preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with team and supervisors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates forklifts and rolloff equipment to move waste and materials within the facility safely and efficiently.
• Conducts pre-operation inspections and reports malfunctions or hazards.
• Follows safety protocols and regulatory requirements to maintain a safe work environment.
• Coordinates with site supervisors and team members to execute daily tasks and maintain workflow.
• Performs routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Maintains records of equipment usage, maintenance, and incidents or repairs.
• Adapts to changing facility needs while maintaining productivity and quality.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
