Job summary

Mid Valley Disposal is seeking an Equipment Operator in Kingsburg, CA, to support compost and transfer operations. This full-time, on-site role involves operating heavy equipment and maintaining equipment readiness while following safety protocols.

You will inspect machines, keep an orderly yard, and assist with compost and transfer station tasks as assigned. Bilingual Spanish is a plus; HS diploma or GED required. Shift flexibility is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy equipment (loaders, forklifts, excavators, or similar).
• Basic mechanical knowledge and experience with equipment inspections.
• Strong attention to safety and detail.
• Ability to follow direction and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate front-end loaders, excavators, grinders, screens, forklifts, and related equipment.
• Perform daily inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Keep equipment clean and in good working condition.
• Follow daily production schedules and safety protocols.
• Process organic materials through composting systems and monitor performance.
