DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Austin – University Area in Austin, TX seeks a hands-on technical leader to support engineering operations and supervise maintenance staff and building systems. The role centers on coordinating maintenance tasks and ensuring safe, reliable service.

Ideal candidates have prior engineering or maintenance leadership experience, strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems, and the ability to train and motivate a team while juggling multiple

Qualifications

• Previous engineering or maintenance leadership experience required.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Organized, dependable, and safety focused.
• Able to lead, train, and motivate a maintenance team.
• Skilled in troubleshooting and problem solving.
• Hands-on worker who can manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to lift, move, climb and use tools and equipment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexible to work any shifts including holidays and weekends.
