Job summary

Doubletree by Hilton Austin is seeking a seasoned Chief Engineer to supervise preventive maintenance and repairs of the hotel’s mechanical/electrical systems. You will lead engineering staff, manage life safety and capital projects, and ensure all activities comply with brand and local codes.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in a comparable hotel environment, strong leadership, and proficient budgeting and IT skills. We offer a robust benefits package and a supportive work culture.

Qualifications

• Vocational training or certifications in HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, or Carpentry.
• 3+ years hands-on experience at a comparable location.
• Knowledge of hotel operations, safety programs, budgeting, and long-range planning.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the implementation of preventive maintenance and repairs for the property and equipment.
• Manage life safety systems, utilities, and capital projects in line with standards.
• Maintain records for RandM Budget, PM Programs, Capital Budget, and Inspections.
