Job summary

Boom Technology, Inc. is hiring Product Development Engineers to own modules of the Symphony engine end-to-end—from concept to test integration—on site in Denver.

You will work at the interface between design and fabrication, directly coordinating with our shop and suppliers to build parts that meet aggressive performance and cost targets. You will drive decisions to minimize part count, streamline assembly, and shorten the path from drawing to hardware.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent hands‑on experience.
• Real DFM/DFA intuition — see how a part will be made.
• Hands-on experience turning a design into actual hardware in high‑consequence environments.
• Track record of making things simpler, cheaper, and faster to build.

Responsibilities

• Own a module of the Superpower engine from requirements through test.
• Drive design decisions to minimize part count and simplify assembly.
• Collaborate with in‑house shop and external suppliers to get parts made right, fast, and on budget.
• Integrate hardware onto test stands, run, break, and iterate to the next revision.
• Raise the bar on everyone around you.
