Job summary

Boom Supersonic in Denver is hiring Build Engineers to own engine modules end-to-end—from concept, design, drawings, supplier interface, first article, assembly, to test integration.

You will work directly with our in-house shop and external suppliers to get parts made right, fast, and on budget, deleting parts and simplifying interfaces as you go. This is hands-on hardware work that directly impacts performance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Ability to translate design into manufacturable hardware and processes.
• Experience turning concepts into actual hardware in high-consequence environments.

Responsibilities

• Own a module of the engine from requirements through test.
• Drive design decisions to minimize part count and simplify assembly.
• Work directly with shop and suppliers to get parts made right, fast, and on budget.
• Integrate hardware on test stands, run it, break it, fix it, and ship the next revision.
• Raise the bar on teammates and outcomes.
