Boom is building Symphony—the engine powering Overture and other breakthroughs—in Denver and beyond. We hire Product Development Engineers to own modules end-to-end, from concept through test, blending design, fabrication, and supply chain with hands-on hardware.

You will work at the interface with our shop and suppliers to get parts made right, fast, and on budget, while driving decisions that minimize complexity and part count. If you love building real hardware, you will thrive here.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Engineering; manufacturing exposure valued.
• Real DFM/DFA intuition; ability to assess manufacturability from a design.
• Hands-on experience turning a design into hardware in high-consequence environments (aerospace, automotive, defense, energy, robotics).
• Track record of making things simpler, cheaper, and faster to build.

Responsibilities

• Own a module of the engine from requirements through test.
• Drive design decisions to minimize part count, simplify assembly, and shorten the path from drawing to hardware.
• Collaborate with in-house shop and external suppliers to get parts made right, fast, and on budget.
• Integrate hardware onto test stands; watch it run, break it, fix it, and ship the next revision.
• Raise the bar on everyone around you.
