Job summary

Barobo, Inc. in Davis, CA is seeking an Elementary Math Education Specialist to join our learning and curriculum team. This role focuses on TK–5/6 curriculum development, hands-on math learning, and teacher professional development.

You will develop standards-based math curriculum and instructional resources, conduct in-person and online training for educators, and support schools implementing RoboBlocky Math. This is a full-time in-office position, with commute from Davis required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in mathematics or STEM education.
• Strong knowledge of TK–5/6 mathematics concepts and instructional practices.
• Experience developing mathematics curriculum or instructional materials.
• Experience delivering professional development to educators.
• Willingness to commute to Davis, CA or relocate.

Responsibilities

• Develop standards-based TK–5/6 mathematics curriculum, lessons, activities, assessments, and instructional resources.
• Create engaging, hands-on learning activities that strengthen students’ understanding of mathematics.
• Integrate mathematics with manipulatives, coding, robots, and real-world problem solving.
• Develop resources supporting core and supplemental instruction, intervention, enrichment, and expanded learning.
• Conduct in-person and online professional development for educators.
• Lead in-depth professional development in elementary mathematics and effective instructional practices.
• Collaborate with teachers and Barobo teams to improve curriculum and learning resources.
• Support schools and districts implementing RoboBlocky Math curriculum, software, and workbooks.
