Job summary

MP RPO is seeking an Electromechanical Manufacturing Engineer to support the Systems Manufacturing Group building complex electro-mechanical assemblies. The role emphasizes hands-on assembly, system integration, troubleshooting, and production documentation on the factory floor.

The candidate should read schematics, improve work instructions, and drive safe, repeatable processes while collaborating with technicians, engineering, quality, purchasing, and production leadership.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with electro-mechanical assembly and systems integration.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Experience solving manufacturing floor issues in a high-mix environment.
• Experience documenting fixes and creating work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Support SMG production builds from release through final assembly and test.
• Troubleshoot electrical and electro-mechanical production issues including wiring and sensors.
• Read and interpret schematics, diagrams, BOMs and customer specs.
• Create and improve work instructions, test procedures, and checklists.
• Assist with ECOs, NCRs, and production issue closure.
• Support NPIs and production readiness for SMG assemblies.
• Contribute to fixtures, test setups, and process improvements.
• Improve safety, quality, and efficiency on the shop floor.
