Job summary

Cindavi in Cincinnati, OH is expanding its engineering team and seeks a hands-on Electrical Engineer to own a critical piece of our powered equipment portfolio. You will drive PCBA design, embedded firmware, and electro-mechanical troubleshooting to deliver reliable life-saving transport solutions.

You will collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and R&D on the shop floor, write and test C/C++ firmware, and tackle DC motor and lithium battery challenges.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 2–5+ years hands-on electrical engineering in manufacturing.
• Proven PCBA design using Altium Designer.
• Strong C/C++ for embedded firmware.
• Experience with DC motor controls and lithium battery tech.
• Collaborative, cross-department communication.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end PCBA design from schematics to production release.
• Develop and test embedded software/firmware in C/C++.
• Work on DC motor controls, battery tech, and HMI.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and R&D on the shop floor.
• Guide technical improvements from real-world feedback.
