Job summary

Cindavi in Dayton, OH is seeking a hands-on Electrical Engineer to own a key portion of our powered equipment portfolio. You will drive PCBA design, embedded firmware in C/C++, and electro-mechanical troubleshooting to ensure reliability for emergency services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field.
• 2–5+ years hands-on electrical engineering experience in manufacturing or physical products.
• Proven PCBA design experience and Altium Designer proficiency.
• Strong C/C++ firmware development and debugging skills.
• Experience with DC motor controls and lithium battery technologies.
• Collaborative, cross-department communication in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and refine PCBA from schematics to production release.
• Write, test, and troubleshoot embedded software and firmware in C and C++.
• Address DC motor controls and lithium battery applications.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and R&D to resolve issues and improve designs.
• Engage with field or customer feedback to guide technical improvements.
