Job summary

Belcan is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer - Medical Devices in Cincinnati for a 24-month contract. You will contribute to energy-based medical device development, embedded hardware design, and PCBA bring-up, working closely with cross-functional teams.

The role requires 5+ years in electrical engineering, hands-on NPD support, design verification, validation and regulatory documentation, and ability to work 100% onsite at the customer location in Cincinnati.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in electrical engineering or embedded hardware.
• Hands-on experience with NPD, design verification, product validation, prototype builds.
• Strong PCBA design support, schematic review, debugging and failure analysis.

Responsibilities

• Support NPD initiatives for energy-based medical devices and surgical platforms.
• Contribute to design verification, validation readiness, and regulatory documentation.
• Collaborate with mechanical, firmware, quality, regulatory, and suppliers.
• Prepare engineering documentation, test summaries and issue logs.
