Job summary

Higher Recruitment, Inc. seeks a Corporate Electrical Engineer to lead electrical engineering projects across manufacturing facilities and operations. You will design, implement, test, and commission electrical systems, coordinating with cross-functional teams, vendors, and contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering/technical field.
• 3–6 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Experience with electrical systems, industrial equipment, manufacturing, facilities, controls, or automation.
• Strong knowledge of electrical design, testing, troubleshooting, and project execution.
• Ability to read and develop electrical drawings and technical documentation.
• Strong project management, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Comfortable working with cross-functional teams, vendors, contractors, and plant personnel.
• Ability to travel approximately 40%.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering projects from concept and design through installation, startup, and closeout.
• Develop and review electrical designs, drawings, specifications, layouts, and engineering calculations.
• Design, test, and validate electrical systems for manufacturing equipment and facility infrastructure.
• Identify technical requirements, safety concerns, and opportunities for process and equipment improvements.
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, purchasing, vendors, and material delivery.
• Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Purchasing, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Support equipment installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, startup, and employee training.
• Participate in continuous improvement and Kaizen initiatives and lead projects as assigned.
• Ensure all projects meet applicable safety, quality, engineering, and company standards.
• Stay current with electrical engineering technologies, industry standards, and best practices.
• Complete project closeout and evaluate project performance, costs, and savings.
