Job summary

Jobgether, based in the United States, seeks an Electrical Engineer to lead multi‑million‑dollar capital projects in wood products manufacturing. You will own scope, budgets, schedules, and safety while providing technical leadership across teams.

You will design and oversee 480V power distribution, motor controls, grounding, and safety systems, guiding designers and consultants through construction documentation. Travel ~30% annually.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required; Master’s preferred.
• 7–10 years of progressive industrial capital project experience.
• Strong design experience with 480V power distribution and electrical infrastructure.
• Experience directing designers/consultants and developing construction drawings.
• Proficiency with electrical system modeling and arc flash analysis.

Responsibilities

• Manage engineering projects from feasibility to post-startup optimization.
• Develop scope, budgets, schedules, resources, and safe execution plans.
• Provide technical leadership on electrical matters across project teams.
• Direct designers, consultants, and contractors on drawings and layouts.
• Perform electrical studies using EasyPower and oversee commissioning.
