Job summary

HireArt, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design, build, test, and troubleshoot electronic and electromechanical systems in a hands-on hardware development lab in San Francisco, CA.

You will contribute to iterative design, component sourcing, assembly, testing, and refinement, supporting training AI systems through hands-on work. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of practical electrical experience, strong debugging skills, and a hands-on approach to building complex hardware.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on electrical experience in hardware systems.
• Experience with electromechanical assemblies and circuit board bring-up.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and datasheets.
• Proficiency with multimeters, oscilloscopes, and bench power supplies.
• Experience with soldering, crimping, and wiring harness assembly.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and bring up electronic systems, including power distribution and DC-DC conversion.
• Assemble wiring harnesses, crimping, soldering, and connector installation.
• Lead bring-up of new boards and subsystems with hardware team coordination.
• Diagnose faults, document failures, causes, and corrective actions.
• Use multimeters, oscilloscopes, bench power supplies, and related tools for testing.
• Review instructions and provide feedback to improve documentation.
