Job summary

NTT Global Data Centers Americas, Inc. is seeking Data Center Technicians for our Garland, TX data center. This on-site role focuses on hands-on operation and maintenance of critical cooling, electrical and monitoring systems in a fast-paced environment.

You will work with chilled water systems, large centrifugal chillers, cooling towers and associated infrastructure. You will troubleshoot and maintain HVAC equipment, BMS/PLC controls, and electrical distribution while coordinating with

Qualifications

Knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E, NFPA 72, NFPA 25 and compliance issues as well as building codes in regard to fire life safety.
Current knowledge in industrial safety best practices (lockout/tag out, arc flash protection, OSHA and state regulations).
Familiarity with data trending / tracking and analysis and the ability to utilize a PC based integrated critical monitoring systems.
Hands-on experience installing, maintaining, and/or troubleshooting large commercial and industrial systems including: Chilled Water Systems, Large Centrifugal Chillers, Cooling Towers, Water Treatment Systems, VFDs and Pumps, HVAC equipment, CRAC/CRAHs, Humidification Systems, Water/Air filters, BMS and PLC Controls, Fuel/Oil systems, 480/277 and 208/120 electrical distribution, Static UPS Systems, Double Interlock Pre-Action Systems.
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
