Job summary
NTT Global Data Centers Americas, Inc. is hiring Data Center Technicians for a newly opened Mesa, AZ data center. The role involves hands-on maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and fire life safety systems in a fast-paced environment.
You’ll work with chilled water systems, HVAC units, UPS and distribution equipment, and collaborate with engineers to improve efficiency while meeting safety standards. On-site Monday–Friday with some after-hours coverage; comprehensive benefits accompany
Qualifications
- Knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E, NFPA 72, NFPA 25 and building codes related to fire life safety
- Industrial safety practices (lockout/tag out, arc flash, OSHA)
- Hands-on experience installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting large data center systems such as chilled water, HVAC, CRAC/CRAH, pumps, and BMS/PLC controls
Responsibilities
- Operate, monitor, maintain, and respond to abnormal conditions in mechanical and electrical systems
- Participate in preventive and predictive maintenance programs
- Review quality assurance with contractors and consultants
- Support data center operating efficiency and cost reduction efforts
- Coordinate with technicians and customers to address issues
- Ensure on-site attendance and adherence to shift schedules
