Job summary

NTT Global Data Centers Americas, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Technician to uphold the operational integrity of electrical, mechanical, and fire life safety systems in a data center environment.

You will ensure uptime, coordinate with contractors, and support a rigorous maintenance program. The role requires proficiency in NEC/NFPA codes, hands-on experience with large scale systems (chillers, VFDs, UPS, BMS/PLC controls), and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E, NFPA 72, NFPA 25 and related fire life safety codes.
• Familiarity with data trending, tracking and analysis.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools and electrical testing equipment.
• Experience installing, maintaining and troubleshooting large commercial/industrial systems.
• Willingness to work on-site and participate in after-hours protocol.

Responsibilities

• Develops approaches to minimize operational costs and improve efficiency.
• Maintain and monitor mechanical, electrical, and fire life safety systems.
• Inspect and repair data center infrastructure and coordinate with contractors.
• Support preventive and predictive maintenance programs with CF Ops Lead Technician.
• Ensure data center operates at maximum efficiency and manages unplanned events.
