Palermo Villa, Inc. in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to own day-to-day security across our IT and OT environments.

You will help shape our security strategy and turn it into action: hardening systems, closing vulnerabilities, responding to incidents, and securing the plant floor. You’ll be based at Palermo's headquarters, splitting time between the office, manufacturing facilities, and warehouse operations while partnering with IT, Engineering, Operations, and executive

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• 5-10 years of IT/network or systems administration experience.
• 2+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience (security operations, incident response, vulnerability management, identity and endpoint security).
• Working knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST CSF, CIS Controls, or ISA/IEC 62443.
• Strong skills with Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra ID, Microsoft 365, and networking.

Responsibilities

• Own security execution from finding to fix.
• Lead security incident response and manage MDR services.
• Secure plant floor through IT-to-OT segmentation and OT asset inventory.
• Develop hardened configuration standards for servers, network, and backups.
• Explain risk to operators, plant leaders, and executives and keep policies current.
