Job summary

Golden State Water Company is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to provide 24x7 on-site support, protect information systems, and lead security projects. You will monitor, respond to threats, and coordinate with SOC to mitigate incidents.

The role requires hands-on experience with vulnerability management, incident response, and security tooling, plus strong communication and teamwork. Travel may be occasional.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of three years' experience in information technology, information technology security or cyber security related fields is required
• At least one year of cyber security experience desired
• Experience in cyber security incident collection, analysis, and reporting process procedures desired
• Hands-on experience in supporting and maintaining information technology and cyber security tools and technologies desired
• Security+ and/or Network+ certifications desired

Responsibilities

• Proactively monitors the environment to detect and mitigate cyber-attacks
• Reviews system audit logs and logs of cybersecurity solutions
• Develops Security Awareness activities for employees and external customers
• Triage and respond to security alerts with SOC
• Manage threat lists and remediation plans
• Create and verify runbooks and incident response plans
• Recommend updates to IT security policies and procedures
• Other related duties as required
