Job summary

Golden State Water Company is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to provide 24x7 onsite support, ensuring confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information systems. You will monitor security, respond to threats, and lead security projects while collaborating with the Cybersecurity Team.

The role emphasizes vulnerability management, incident response coordination, and compliance with NIST cybersecurity standards. Strong teamwork and customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in information technology, information technology security or cyber security related fields is required.
• Security+ and/or Network+ certifications desired.
• Hands-on experience with information security tools and technologies is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Proactively monitors the environment to detect and mitigate cyber-attacks.
• Reviews system audit logs and security solution logs.
• Coordinates triage with SOC and Incident Response Team for containment and eradication.
• Develops Security Awareness materials to educate employees and external customers.
