Job summary

Golden State Water Company is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to provide 24x7 support and protect our information systems in California. You’ll work onsite with a hands-on team to detect, respond, mitigate, and report threats while following NIST Cybersecurity Framework and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include monitoring security infrastructure, conducting vulnerability management, developing security awareness, coordinating with the SOC, and assisting with policy updates and data

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in information technology or cybersecurity.
• One year of cybersecurity experience preferred.
• Experience with incident collection, analysis and reporting.
• Hands-on experience with IT security tools.
• Security+ and/or Network+ certifications desired.

Responsibilities

• Monitor environment to detect and mitigate cyber-attacks.
• Review system audit logs and cybersecurity solution logs.
• Develop Security Awareness activities for employees and customers.
• Triage and respond to security alerts with SOC.
• Coordinate incident response with the team.
• Manage threat lists and remediation planning.
• Assist with Data Loss Prevention rules.
• Review and update IT security policies.
• Other duties as required.
