Mission Design & Automation, based in Holland, MI, is seeking a Machine Builder to assemble custom automation equipment onsite. You’ll collaborate with engineers throughout builds and contribute to bringing each machine from concept to reality, with direct impact on project success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Mechanical aptitude with safety and quality focus.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in industrial settings.
• Ability to obtain Hi-Lo, Aerial Platform, and Overhead Crane certificates.

Responsibilities

• Assemble custom automation equipment with engineers.
• Operate shop tools safely and efficiently.
• Prepare material for finishing and heat treatment.
• Document updates and communicate project progress.
• Take ownership and solve challenges with the team.
• Lead machine builds and develop new skills.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work area.
