JR Automation Technologies, LLC is seeking a skilled Machine Builder for an onsite role in Holland, MI. You will assemble custom automated machinery from the ground up, emphasizing fit, finish, and high-precision assembly.

The role requires reading mechanical drawings, operating mills, lathes, drill presses, and grinders, and assisting with installation as needed. Travel up to 20% may be required, with a strong focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational education preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
• Related vocational training or certifications are desirable.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assemble equipment per mechanical drawings and specifications.
• Document changes and communicate issues promptly.
• Perform mechanical assembly, system integration, testing and assist with installation.
• Adhere to ISO quality standards and site safety practices.
• Coordinate with the Machine Build Lead on progress and issues.
• Operate equipment (Mill, Lathe, Drill Press, Grinder, etc.) and maintain a clean work area.
