JR Automation, a Hitachi Group Company, seeks a Machine Builder for an onsite role in Holland, MI. You will assemble equipment per drawings, document changes, and work with ISO/Quality standards while minimizing supervision.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or equivalent.
• Related vocational education preferred.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings.
• Proven mechanical aptitude with focus on safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Assemble equipment per mechanical drawings.
• Document and communicate changes and problems.
• Perform tasks with minimal direct supervision.
• Follow ISO/Quality standards.
• Coordinate with the Machine Build Lead on issues and progress.
• Execute programs with regard to cost, quality, and schedule.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
• Prepare materials for secondary processes (finishing, heat treat, deburring).
• Operate mill, lathe, drill press, surface grinder, saws, shears, and presses safely.
