Flowhub is seeking a hands-on Controller to own the day-to-day finance operations, including billing, AR, AP, tax filings, and the month-end close. You will lead a small accounting team, implement AI-driven automation, and maintain clean books for accurate reporting to the Chief of Staff.

You will work from our Coconut Grove HQ in Miami three days a week and collaborate with the finance team to drive execution, accuracy, and fast problem-solving in a profitable, growth-focused company.

Qualifications

• Hands-on ownership of AP, AR, billing, vendor payments, reconciliations, and the month-end close.
• Experience training, leading, or reviewing work of others on a finance team.
• Experience at software, payments, subscription, or multi-location retail business is a strong plus.
• Sales and use tax filings across states.
• Fluency with modern finance tooling and daily use of AI tools in the work.
• Bonus: CPA or progress toward one, or cannabis/regulatory industry exposure.

Responsabilités

• Billing and AR management: invoices, issues resolution, and collections.
• AP and vendor payments: timely processing with clear trails.
• Tax filings and compliance: sales/use tax and calendar management.
• Reconciliations and month-end close: ensure accurate top‑level reporting.
• Lead the two-person accounting team: set priorities and coach.
• Direct the work and leverage automation to improve efficiency.
