Job summary

Alfred Benesch & Company in North Carolina is hiring a Civil Site/Land Development Intern to gain hands-on experience in planning, designing, and constructing civil engineering projects, working with seasoned engineers and planners. You will contribute to site inspections, technical drafting, data analysis, and project design, with exposure to feasibility studies, zoning research, and due diligence reporting.

Office support includes AutoCAD and Civil 3D tasks.

Qualifications

Pursuing a bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field.
Familiarity with AutoCAD and Civil 3D preferred but not required.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Previous internship or field experience is a plus but not required.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities

Gain hands-on experience in planning, designing, and constructing civil engineering projects.
Work alongside engineers and planners on site inspections, drafting, data analysis, and project design.
Support feasibility studies, zoning research, and due diligence reporting.
Assist in preparing and updating technical drawings with AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
Contribute to project reports and maintain project documentation.
