Job summary

Benesch is hiring a Civil Site Intern to gain hands-on experience in planning, designing, and constructing civil engineering projects under the guidance of experienced engineers and planners.

You will assist with site inspections, drafting, data analysis, and project design, with exposure to feasibility studies, zoning research, and due diligence reporting. Opportunities for field visits and mentorship are provided.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and Civil 3D (preferred but not required)
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Previous internship or field experience is a plus, but not required
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment

Responsibilities

• As a Civil Site Intern, you will gain hands‑on experience in planning, designing, and constructing civil engineering projects.
• Work with experienced engineers and planners on site inspections, drafting, data analysis, and project design.
• Assist with feasibility studies, zoning research, due diligence reporting, and data compilation for project reports
