Job summary

Benesch in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Civil Site Intern to gain hands-on experience in planning, design, and construction of civil projects. You will work with experienced engineers and planners on site inspections, drafting, data analysis, and project design.

You will help with feasibility studies, zoning research, and due diligence reporting, and support with stormwater systems, site layouts, and technical drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and Civil 3D (preferred but not required).
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Previous internship or field experience is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in site inspections and data collection.
• Support design and drafting of civil engineering projects.
• Contribute to feasibility studies, zoning research, and due diligence reporting.
• Prepare and update technical drawings with AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
