Job summary

WSP USA invites motivated Civil Engineering students to join our Buffalo, NY office as a Summer 2027 Intern. You will work alongside senior staff on real projects, gaining hands-on experience and professional mentorship during a 12-week program.

The role emphasizes learning civil engineering basics, conducting research, assisting with fieldwork and design calculations, and contributing to project documentation. No relocation or housing assistance is offered.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in an accredited bachelor of science or related undergraduate/graduate program.
• Authorized to work in the United States at internship start.
• Strong interest in Civil or related field and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist with engineering tasks to develop technical, social, and ethical skills.
• Learn basic principles of Civil Engineering.
• Support project research, field work, and preliminary design calculations and analysis.
• Help prepare final design plans, provisions, and cost estimates.
• Assist in collecting and maintaining project documentation.
