Job summary

Teragen Energy is hiring a hands‑on Ceramic Engineer to join our cell and stack fabrication team in Lehi, Utah. You will work on powder and ink formulation, forming, coating, and sintering to develop and scale single cells, seals, and interconnects.

You’ll partner with our Materials Engineer to invent materials, ensure repeatable processes, and transition from research to scalable manufacturing while delivering reliable, low‑carbon power solutions.

Qualifications

• BS or MS or PhD degree plus 2–6+ years of ceramic/ SOFC fabrication experience.
• Experience with tape casting, screen printing, slurry formulation, sintering or extrusion.
• Maker mentality: build, learn, iterate, and share results.
• Curiosity, initiative, and hands‑on problem solving are essential.
• Strong experimental discipline and collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Develop and drive fabrication of SOFC cells, including forming, coating, and sintering.
• Test and scale manufacturing processes to improve performance and yield.
• Collaborate to refine seal, interconnect, and interface materials for stacks.
• Create repeatable processes and document them for team use.
• Shift fabrication from research to robust, scalable manufacturing.
