West Dakota Meats is seeking a temporary full-time Butcher's Assistant in North Dakota. You will learn alongside experienced cutters, using knives, grinders and bandsaws to cut meat from game, beef and pork.

The role emphasizes safe handling, precision, and teamwork in a fast-paced shop. Responsibilities include skinning, trimming, deboning, and grinding, while maintaining cleanliness and adhering to hygiene practices.

Qualificações

• Experience with deboning, trimming, and portioning preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a refrigerated environment.
• Prompt and regular attendance is required.

Responsabilidades

• Skin deer
• Cut, trim, debone, tie, and grind meats such as wild game, beef and pork
• Perform meat cutting and trimming tasks with precision and skill
• Use knives, grinders, or bandsaws to cut and trim meat to size
• Move meat from coolers to cutting area and return cut meat to coolers
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the butcher area
