Job summary

Parker & Sons seeks a hands-on Business Intelligence & Analytics Manager to lead the analytics function, build enterprise dashboards, and ensure data accuracy across sourcing from Databricks, SQL, Excel, and vendor systems. This single-person department will partner with leaders to set priorities and deliver timely, validated insights.

The role requires five-plus years of BI experience, advanced Power BI and Domo skills, strong SQL/Databricks expertise, and exceptional communication.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in BI/analytics, primary analytics resource for org/BU
• Advanced Power BI data modeling, DAX, refresh management
• Advanced Domo: cards, dashboards, ETL, connectors
• Advanced SQL with Databricks or equivalent
• Excel and Power Query expert; strong Power Automate workflows
• Experience integrating external data via APIs and validating with internal data
• Proven ability to reconcile third-party data and internal records
• Strong communication for technical and non-technical audiences
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple deliverables
• Experience in production data workflows and governance would be a plus

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain dashboards in Power BI and Domo with reliable refresh schedules.
• Respond to ad hoc requests with validated results and clear assumptions.
• Establish standard metric definitions and documentation for consistent reporting.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve reporting issues to ensure availability of critical information.
• Extract, transform, and prepare data using SQL, Databricks, Excel, and Power Query.
• Automate data connections to vendor systems via APIs and automate report distribution via Power Automate.
• Document data sources, transformations, integrations, and refresh logic for auditability.
