Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
• 3+ years of industrial mechanical assembly or machine building experience preferred.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, pneumatic schematics, and electrical diagrams.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
• Good written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and assemble custom industrial machinery according to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Install conveyors, lift tables, rotary systems, fixtures, guarding, and material-handling equipment.
• Assemble bearings, shafts, gears, motors, chains, belts, couplings, and actuators.
• Install pneumatic tubing, hoses, valves, regulators, cylinders, and related components.
• Perform basic electrical wiring and termination according to approved drawings.
• Align, level, fit, and adjust equipment to meet dimensions and operating requirements.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, and basic electrical issues during assembly and startup.
• Identify drawing discrepancies, missing components, and assembly concerns; communicate with Engineering and supervision.
• Collaborate with engineers, electricians, controls technicians, and other skilled trades.
• Follow safety procedures, OSHA requirements, and quality standards; maintain an organized work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
