Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass offers an entry-level 18-month Technician Development Program starting with a 30-day trial to qualify for advanced training. You will work alongside experienced technicians on basic auto body repairs, including dent removal, sanding, and painting, while learning to handle tools and safety procedures.

Qualified candidates may have a high school diploma, some related experience, and a strong interest in the automotive industry.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Trade or vocational training preferred for auto body skills.
• Some on-the-job experience is preferred.
• I-CAR Gold Class is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in basic auto body repairs under supervision.
• Learn to use and maintain tools safely and efficiently.
• Participate in vehicle inspections to identify damages and plan repairs.
• Collaborate with team to complete repairs on time and to quality standards.
• Follow safety protocols and keep a clean, organized workspace.
