Job summary

KLA is seeking Associate Test Engineers for manufacturing roles in Milpitas, CA. You will participate in testing of optics/opto-mechanical, assembly, electrical/PCB, alignment and system integration, performing set-up, calibration and troubleshooting across multiple subsystems.

Ideal candidates have hands-on electro-mechanical experience, can work in a clean room, and communicate clearly in English. The role may require extended hours and weekend work as needed.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in systems electro-mechanical assembly, testing, troubleshooting and repair.
• Ability to work in a clean room environment.
• Experience with system development and testing, including requirements, specs and results.

Responsibilities

• Perform set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of mechanical assemblies at system level.
• Perform set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of wafer or Reticle handlers.
• Develop methods from blueprints, drawings and diagrams.
• Test and troubleshoot assemblies and complete rework on systems as needed.
• Prepare technical reports summarizing findings and recommendations.
