Job summary

Burger King in Hickory, NC is seeking an Assistant Manager to partner with the RGM to drive restaurant performance, guest satisfaction, and financial results. You’ll lead shifts, coach Team Members and Shift Coordinators, and ensure standards for quality, service, cleanliness, and safety.

This hands-on role offers strong growth opportunities within the BK system. You'll contribute to sales goals, labor efficiency, and guest satisfaction while demonstrating strong decision-making and leadership

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–2 years of leadership experience in restaurants, retail, or fast-paced environments.
• People-first mindset with strong communication and team motivation skills.
• Ability to solve problems and make confident, timely decisions.
• Commitment to guest experience, BK standards, and ongoing learning and growth.

Responsibilities

• Create great guest experiences by leading the team to deliver fast, friendly service.
• Develop and support your people by coaching Team Members and Shift Coordinators.
• Lead strong operations by upholding BK brand standards and removing roadblocks.
• Support profitability by managing inventory, orders, assets, and cash control and safety protocols.
