Job summary

STS Technical Services in Springtown, Texas is hiring an Assembler to support equipment assembly in a hands-on manufacturing environment. The role involves building mechanical, electrical and hydraulic components using detailed instructions and a variety of tools.

You will read schematics and blueprints, work across multiple assembly areas as production needs change, and help ensure quality standards while maintaining a clean, safe work area.

Qualifications

• Overtime may be required.
• Evenings, weekends and holidays may be required.
• Regular and reliable on-site attendance.
• Preferred: at least six months of manufacturing or general labor experience.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts, wires, hoses and hydraulic components using power tools and manual techniques
• Install equipment accessories including decals, mud flaps, cameras and lights
• Safely operate an overhead crane to position parts
• Use hand and pneumatic tools including wrenches, hammers and torque guns
• Measure parts and components accurately using tape measures
• Read schematics, blueprints and Standard Work Instructions
• Identify required options and assembly requirements
• Lift and stack subassemblies and parts weighing up to 35 pounds independently
• Participate in team lifts for parts weighing up to 60 pounds
• Cross-train and work in multiple assembly areas as needed
• Follow written and verbal instructions
• Maintain attention to detail and established quality standards
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Follow safety procedures and 6S standards
• Perform other duties as assigned
