Aerotek is hiring an Assembler for a contract-to-hire role in Utica, NY. You’ll assemble packaging and building products, use hand and power tools, and perform quality checks in a fast-paced, safety‑driven facility.

This on‑site position offers growth opportunities, a stable environment, and a competitive pay rate of $18–$19 per hour, with 1st and 2nd shifts available. Benefits include medical, dental, 401(k), life insurance, and an employee boot allowance after conversion.

Qualifications

• Assembly or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Comfortable using hand and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Able to lift, stack, and move materials throughout the shift.
• General labor, warehouse, construction, or production experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assemble boxes, crates, pallets, skids, and other packaging products.
• Use hand tools and power tools to build products safely and accurately.
• Feed and remove materials from production machines.
• Perform quality checks to ensure products meet standards.
• Work with wood, corrugated cardboard, and foam materials.
• Package, stack, and prepare products for shipment.
• Follow work instructions and safety procedures.
• Keep your work area clean, organized, and efficient.
