Job summary

EY is seeking a hands-on Solution Architect to design, prototype and build AI-enabled applications and digital products. You will work across architecture, code, pipelines and PoCs, guiding engineering teams in build-and-run engagements within Digital Engineering Managed Services.

The role emphasizes technical depth, architecture ownership, and collaboration with client teams to deliver reliable, scalable solutions with security and governance baked in.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in CS/Engineering.
• Typically 8+ years in engineering and solution architecture roles with hands-on delivery.
• Prior consulting or complex product delivery experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end application architectures across UI, APIs, services, data and AI components.
• Prototype and spike solutions to validate architectural decisions early.
• Define reference architectures for AI-enabled products, including RAG patterns and guardrails.
• Author ADRs, sequence flows and non-functional requirements.
• Lead technical workshops with client architects and engineers.
• Review AI-generated code, tests and documentation for correctness and risk.
• Guide teams on prompt design, context management and reuse of accelerators.
