Job summary

EY in the United States is seeking a hands-on Solution Architect to design AI-enabled applications and lead architecture across UI, APIs and data platforms. You will prototype, review code, and guide engineering teams while maintaining security, reliability and scalable CI/CD practices in a managed services context.

You will collaborate with client architects and engineers to ensure architectural excellence, production readiness, and governance for AI-enabled products and platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• Typically 8+ years in engineering and solution architecture roles, with recent hands‑on delivery responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Design end‑to‑end architectures across UI, APIs, services, data and AI components.
• Prototype and spike solutions to validate architectural decisions.
• Define reference architectures for AI-enabled products including RAG patterns.
• Author ADRs, sequence flows and deployment diagrams; define non‑functional requirements.
• Lead technical workshops and guide client teams on architecture tradeoffs.
• Ensure production‑readiness with runbooks, automation and clear handoffs.
