Job summary

EY is seeking a hands-on Solution Architect to design, prototype and build AI-enabled applications and digital products. You will lead architecture, review code, and guide engineering teams through complex decisions within Digital Engineering Managed Services.

You will define reference architectures for AI-enabled products, enforce security and best practices, and drive successful deployments in a managed services context. This role emphasizes technical depth and client collaboration.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on background in software engineering and modern application architectures.
• Deep understanding of cloud-native design, APIs, integration patterns and data architectures.
• Practical experience building AI-enabled features (prompting, RAG, embeddings, evaluation).
• Comfort working directly in code, infrastructure and pipelines—not just producing diagrams.
• Clear technical communication and a bias toward building to learn.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on solution architecture & design across UI, APIs, services, data and AI components.
• AI-accelerated build leadership with engineers to raise technical quality.
• Non-functional architecture, reliability, observability and security baked in.
• Build-to-run ownership with CI/CD, environment strategies and release automation.
• Client collaboration through architecture design, estimates and delivery approaches.
