Job summary

EY in the United States is seeking a hands-on Solution Architect to design, prototype and build AI-enabled applications. You will lead architecture decisions, work closely with engineers, and own end-to-end technical outcomes in digital engineering managed services.

This role emphasizes cloud-native patterns, security, observability and RAG-based AI features, with a strong focus on delivering production-ready solutions and effective collaboration with clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline or equivalent experience.
• Typically 8+ years in engineering and solution architecture roles with recent hands-on delivery responsibility.
• Prior consulting or complex product delivery experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on solution architecture & design across UI, APIs, services, data and AI components.
• Prototype, spike and validate architectural decisions early with code and configs.
• Define reference architectures for AI-enabled products including RAG patterns and prompts.
• Author ADRs, deployment diagrams and non-functional requirements.
• Lead technical workshops and client collaboration to shape proposals.
