Job summary

EY is seeking a hands-on Solution Architect to design, prototype and build AI-enabled applications and digital products. You will guide engineering teams, write code, and own architecture decisions across managed services in a fast-paced, cloud-native environment.

You’ll lead by example in building patterns, ensuring security, reliability and scalable systems while collaborating with client architects and engineers across engagements.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on background in software engineering and modern application architectures.
• Deep understanding of cloud-native design, APIs, integration patterns and data architectures.
• Practical experience building AI-enabled features (prompting, RAG, embeddings, evaluation).
• Comfort working directly in code, infrastructure and pipelines—not just producing diagrams.
• Clear technical communication and a bias toward building to learn.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on solution architecture & design across UI, APIs, services, data, AI components, integrations and runtime platforms.
• AI-accelerated build leadership: work in codebases to set patterns, unblock delivery and raise quality.
• Non-functional architecture & reliability: define performance, scalability, observability, security and runbooks.
• Build-to-run ownership: architect solutions for long-term managed operations, CI/CD and release automation.
• Client collaboration & technical leadership: lead workshops, communicate tradeoffs, support proposals.
