Job summary

Synovus Financial Corp. is seeking an AI & Process Automation Analyst to build automation and AI-enabled tools across multiple locations, including Atlanta, Columbus, and Charlotte.

This hands-on role partners with business stakeholders and enterprise Technology/AI teams to implement scalable solutions using Python, Power Automate, Copilot, and related tools. The role emphasizes delivering self-contained use cases, documenting BRDs and SDs, and ensuring governance and risk controls while driving

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and practical experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in automation, data analysis, business intelligence, or software/scripting development.
• Experience with Python and SQL for data extraction, cleaning, validation, and automation.

Responsibilities

• Designs, builds, tests, and implements automation and AI-enabled solutions using Python, Power Automate, Power Platform, Copilot, and other approved tools.
• Automates recurring reporting, data collection, notifications, and manual processes to reduce effort and increase capacity.
• Develops BRDs and SD documentation for each automation including data sources, logic, controls, and support requirements.
• Tests, implements, and supports solutions post go-live and coordinates with enterprise Technology/AI teams for scaling.
