Job summary

Ericsson US seeks a hands-on AI architecture leader to guide production AI across Core Networks delivery in the Americas. You will work with delivery squads to define production-ready standards and ensure customer data controls are met.

This role blends building with squads (agents, pipelines) and aligning shared-platform architecture. Production AI shipping experience is required; you will focus on delivering measurable outcomes, not advisory work.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building, deploying, and operating production AI systems.
• Proficiency in Python and AI agent workflows.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, GitOps, CI/CD, and cloud-based functions.
• Understanding customer data controls, including access, location, retention, masking, and governance.
• Experience delivering in large enterprise IT environments with multiple teams and governance.
• Ability to explain technical choices in business terms and needs.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy AI agents, data pipelines, and reusable solutions with engineering teams.
• Take agents from pilot to production with evaluation methods and monitoring.
• Decide which steps should use AI or be redesigned, and select suitable platforms.
• Define shared vs domain-specific components and production-readiness expectations.
• Establish data/knowledge requirements and customer data controls.
• Collaborate with customers and Core Networks specialists to reflect network operations.
• Set safeguards and rollback procedures; maintain decisions records.
• Raise risks, dependencies, and platform needs early with mitigations.
