Job summary

EPAM Systems, Inc. seeking a Forward Deployed AI Architect to embed with client teams and drive AI-native solutions from pilot to production.

You will frame problems, set scope, and balance trade-offs while operating at the architecture level within the client's vocabulary and timeline. You will own architecture design across orchestration, retrieval, and integration with systems of record, with a focus on agent autonomy, guardrails, and observability to ensure real business value reaches

Qualifications

Depth in integration, distributed systems, cloud, and data-flow architecture at enterprise scale.
Proven track record as a solutions architect with client-facing delivery responsibility.
Hands-on ability to prototype AI-native designs and keep constraints honest.

Responsibilities

Embed with client teams to design AI-native architectures from pilot to production.
Define evaluation criteria, cost models, and guardrails for agent-based systems.
Create ADRs, design docs, and evidence artifacts to ensure architectural decisions survive stakeholder changes.
Lead end-to-end architecture including orchestration, retrieval, and systems of record integration.
Create proofs of concepts and reference architectures to demonstrate feasibility to clients.
